WHO: All secondary students in KISD
WHAT: Required to change their KISD Password

1. Using any device that has internet access (computer, tablet,
phone etc.)
2. Go to the KISD Website at https://www.killeenisd.org

• It is now time to THINK up a password
• Your password MUST be at least 10 characters long

o Capital Letter (A-Z)
o Lower case Letter (a-z)
o Numbers (0-9)
o Special Character (!, $, #, % etc.)
• Think of a phrase or a few words that are easy for you to remember then capitalize a few of the
letters, substitute a number for a letter (like “1” for “I” or “5” for “s”) then substitute a special
character for a letter (like # for h or $ for s or & for the word “and”)
• An example of a good password could be Killeeni$d#1 (please do not use this PW as it is now known
by everyone)
• Once you think up your new password go to step #8

12. Once this window opens you are done. Click Log Out. The next
time you log into a KISD computer, OneDrive, HAC, Schoology
or anything related to Killeen ISD you will need to use your new
password.
13. You will not need to reset your password until next school year unless you choose to reset it earlier.
14. You may reset your password whenever you want to.
